The best part about green smoothies is that they taste like a treat but are super healthy! My son loves helping me make smoothies by picking out all of his fruit and yogurt as well as loading our Ninja with the ingredients. He is not a fan of the noise that the blender makes so I normally end up doing that part. These are quick, you can use the ingredients you have on hand, and they load your child up with fruits and veggies. We even fill my one year old daughter's sippy cup with a green smoothie and she chugs it!

Recipe:
5 oz. cup of yogurt (we like to use plain greek but you can use sweetened regular or greek as well)
handful of fresh spinach
handful of frozen fruit (our favorites include mango, strawberries, and blueberries)
milk to your desired thickness
Hint: Start with a little milk, mix, and then check the consistency. It is much easier to add more than to start off with too much at the beginning.
We like adding multiple kinds of fruits together. Don't be afraid to let your kids get involved.
