Okay, this is seriously the easiest recipe in the world! I love that my kids think they are eating a dessert, it's healthy, it uses ingredients I always have, and it's cheap. Also, this is a snack I can eat without feeling guilty for indulging in something too sweet :)
Recipe:
4 c. your choice of frozen fruit (we tend to do strawberry or mango)
5 oz. cup of plain yogurt (regular or greek will work)
1 Tbsp. honey
Place all 3 ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. That is seriously all you have to do! It is delicious and absolutely amazing on a hot day.
TIPS:
-I would not do this with fresh fruit unless you freeze it ahead of time because you need ice for your texture and consistency.
-You can replace the plain yogurt with a flavored yogurt and then just omit the honey. I prefer the plain and honey because it is healthier and you know exactly what is going into your child's mouth.
